PropTech Unconference II Edition reunites the 80 most innovative PropTech CEOs

Proptech Unconference II Edition is coming, and this year is reuniting the 80 most innovative CEOs from the real estate sector willing to make the ecosystem grow. This meeting goal is to provide information about the opportunities, trends and challenges in the industry to ease the collaboration between stakeholders. The main difference with other events in the sector is that the Unconferences are not lectures but conversations between the assistants, divided in groups, who choose the topics they want to discuss as the reunion begins.

In the last year, the Spanish PropTech sector has grown 110%, from 107 identified startups in May 2017, up to 225 last June. All of them seek to offer new business models through the integration of disruptive technologies to speed up processes, increase security and bring the clients closer. Among these new tools, Blockchain (smart contracts), machine learning and IoT stand out as they bring decentralization, security, speed and transparency to the market.

We can already see the implementation of these technologies in energetic efficiency, automation and access control, from individuals in their Smarthomes to governments and citizens in Smartcities. We will see these solutions grow as the investments do so, from 3,000 million dollars between 2011 and 2016 to 6,000 million dollars only in 2017.
